DEATH AND LIFE

When we are old enough to accept death,
We need to be young enough to accept life.
When death exists, life does not bring about death;
When life exists, death does not at all generate life.
We have to survive in order to be alive in life;
We must not be alive so as to survive in death.
When mankind is kind enough to be kind with death,
It had better be unkind enough to be unkind with life.
Life can be but life, there is no such thing as death in life ;
Death stands for death, life in death is neither life nor death.
People are not people when they are seen as people in death,
People are people when they are seen as people in life.
Death is death when life is life not when death is death ;
Life is life when death is death and not when life is life.
